What do you enjoy about working at Active Dog?
I enjoy every aspect of working for Active Dog! It is a beautiful experience both physically and mentally being able to hike in nature with my favorite thing- DOGS!
What did you do before you worked at Active Dog and why did you decide to work with dogs?
Before AD I did a lot of work in customer service and sales and I really needed a change. I was exhausted and unsatisfied with my work environment and life. I wanted to do something meaningful to myself and the community, so I could be proud of my work!

⭐️Dog of the Week⭐️ WOODY
Woody has been hiking with AD over a year and half now The moment he sees the AD van out the window, a big smile spreads across his face. Out on the trails, you can find Woody partaking in an epic game of Chase, running laps around the pack, or hanging back and charming his way into an extra treat or two. In between bursts, he comes bouncing up to check in with his hikers, always wearing his signature smile that is equal parts adorable and mischievous-but most of all contagious. Woody is as sweet as they come, always leaning in for a quick ear scratch and ending every hike with a big hug at drop-off. We had a new member join our Active Dog Family today! Everyone please join me in Welcoming 💥Roscoe💥 to the pack! 🥳
Roscoe is a 3 year old Mixed Breed Rescue who is extremely smart and will do absolutely anything for a treat! 🦴 His favorite treats are cheese and carrots but he hates peanut butter! One of the cutest things he does is smile with his teeth when greeting his owners returning from work 😁 Roscoe can tear up a stuffed toy within minutes and he loves to jump on anything high (walls, rocks, pedestals) while he's out exploring the town! He’s happiest in nature smelling all the new scents and he hates technology; he'll bark when you get on your phone or are on the computer! Roscoe’s DNA test said he is mostly Chihuahua (34%)! 🧸😊 ⛰🐾
