Dog Hiker
Simply put – your dog is my dog while they are with me. Although, your dog stays in my mind and in my heart long after I drop them off. My family tells me I light up when recounting my adventures with your dog. They even get confused if I’m talking about a human or a dog. Each of your dogs have such unique personalities that the interactions I have with them truly brings their individuality to life. Your dog’s enthusiasm is infectious and I want to nurture and protect that.
I enjoy providing the opportunity for dogs to be dogs. It amazes me that the dogs stick together so much on the hike. I can clearly see the pack enjoy the company of each other. The ultimate joy is to see them run free and to explore their surroundings. I feel so honored that your dogs respect and trust me to lead them on this adventure in our beautiful part of the world.
Before Active Dog, I worked as an English teacher in Japan, California, New York and New Mexico. Since 2011, I have settled in Greenwich, Ct where I have been teaching yoga.
Growing up, I had horses and dogs and naturally fell into caring for other dogs and horses as I met their owners. As you know, animals help you build a community of other animal lovers. And people who care for animals are some of the most kind and generous people. I joined Active Dog to be part of that community again.
Here’s a look at what’s happening on our nature hikes. We post photos and videos for every hike.
