Everyone give a big welcome to our newest hiker, **Shelby** 🐕✨

Shelby is a 1-year-old Fox Red Lab (born 2/17) with a serious love for the outdoors! She spends her winters heading up to Vermont every weekend and enjoys lots of hikes right here in Connecticut behind her home. Safe to say, she was a total pro out on the trails today. She was confident, adventurous, and loving every minute of it 🌲🐾

A few fun facts about Shelby: she was born in Massachusetts from a breeder specializing in Red Fox Labs, **Bentley Brooks**, and she even has her own Instagram *@shelbyredlife* (go give her a follow!) 📸🐕 She’s also a big foodie and loves just about everything, but eggs are her absolute favorite 🍳😋

Please welcome Bode (ie), our newest addition to the Active Dog Pack! Bode is a 6 year old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog from Larchmont, NY.
Bode is a big, friendly guy who loves his treats, he knows them as "cookies" 😀 His owner said that he will chase a dog that has a ball, but never just a ball. Bode has daycare experience and hiking with family, mostly on leash. He jumped into the van readily and was a great passenger both to and from the land. Duner, the Springer Spaniel who just turned 8 years old, had a great first hike! He made lots of new friends and had fun taking in all the new scents, sounds, and sights!
Duner’s mom, told us “Unlike some Springers who are obsessed with a tennis ball or frisbee, Duner would rather chase leaves, butterflies, and their shadows flying around on a beautiful sunny day.” We witnessed his celebration with leaves! ✨🐾 New Hiker Alert! 🐾✨

Everyone meet Buddy our newest trail explorer and certified good boy 💪🐶

Buddy is a 1 year old American Bulldog with a heart as big as his love for the outdoors. As a rescue pup, he’s already living his best life and making up for lost time one hike at a time 🌲🐾

This guy has one true obsession his red frisbee ❤️🥏 If it’s in your hand, you’ve instantly become his best friend (temporarily because grandma still holds the #1 spot forever 👵💛).

When he’s not out crushing trails, Buddy’s probably posted up somewhere relaxing with his signature move a little tongue sticking out like he forgot to put it away 😛💤 It’s equal parts adorable and hilarious.

At home, Buddy rolls deep with his crew his older brothers Noodle the bearded dragon 🦎 and Milo the Maltese 🐕. Safe to say, it’s never boring in that house.

Out on the trails, Buddy brings the energy, the vibes, and a whole lot of enthusiasm. Hiking is his absolute favorite thing, and he’s always ready for the next adventure 🌄🔥

Kami is a 2 year old English Cream Retriever joining us from Stamford, and she brings that loveable retriever energy to the AD trails that everyone loves!
Kami is a very friendly lady with prior off-leash experience and does great with other dogs, making her a perfect fit for packs. Kami loves meeting new friends and is just as excited meeting people and pups alike!
A true Retriever at heart, Kami can be found carrying around her favorite stuffed animal wherever she goes 🧸🐶 and brings a fun, playful energy to everything she does!

✨🐾 New Hiker Alert! 🐾✨

Everyone meet Remy, our newest trail buddy and certified good boy with a little artist flair 🎨🐶

Remy’s name is short for Rembrandt (fancy, we know), inspired by his signature paintbrush tail that never stops wagging. If tail-wagging were an art form, he’d be a master.

This guy brings personality everywhere he goes. His favorite hobby? Sleeping flat on his back with all four paws in the air like he just paid rent 💤😂 It’s equal parts hilarious and impressive.

But don’t let that sweet face fool you. Remy is also a professional sneak thief 👀 If it’s not secured, it’s fair game. Socks, toys, snacks you name it, he’s probably already claimed it.

Out on the trails, Remy is all about making friends. He absolutely loves other dogs and fits right in with the pack 🐕💛 Social butterfly energy with a side of zoomies.
