Why should you trust me with your dog?
I’ve always been a dog person and have considered dogs more as friends than just animals. I’ve had 4 dogs of my own and would do anything for them and I believe all dog owners would appreciate that same love towards their dogs. I’ve always been called in times were per care or pet guidance was needed with friends and family. I’m just as happy to see the new furry friends as they’re excited to get outside and running.
What do you enjoy about working at Active Dog?
I enjoy the the way it feels to be outside, the sense of freedom with the dogs is a unique feeling. I like that I get to meet new people and more importantly new dogs! Everyone I’ve met with at Active Dog has been really helpful and insightful!
I’m also a big fan of trails and hikes so it feels good to go do what I like and get paid for it! I’m excited to see what adventures I’m going to have with new and different groups of dogs and watching them run, play and interact!
What did you do before you worked at Active Dog and why did you decide to work with dogs?
Before working at Active Dog I worked in Manhattan as a Dispatch Supervisor in a shelter for migrants. Before working there I was working at another dog company so having that experience made me realize I want to work with dogs again!
Having worked with people in need and with dogs I, felt like I was a great fit for this company. I messaged Eric and here I am today, hiking with dogs and loving every moment of it!
