Susan Burkowsky

Hi I’m Susan, a lifelong Connecticut resident. It’s been my lifelong commitment to help animals live their best lives. I hold degrees in Animal Science and Business Management. I was fortunate enough to grow up in an active family that was always outdoors and allowed my siblings and I to have a menagerie of animals!

I began working with dogs at a boarding facility at 14 years old for my Agricultural High School credit. I’ve volunteered with Guiding Eyes for the Blind as a puppy raiser, a Docent at CT Beardsley Zoo and with Osborndale State Park as an animal caretaker and performed Bluebird box maintenance.

I’m currently a farmer raising Black Angus Cattle in Bethlehem, CT with my husband, our 3 kids and dogs Angus, Murray and Shaggy.
