Welcome to Active Dog. 

We have been providing dog hiking, walking, and boarding services for clients living in Fairfield and Westchester counties since 2011.

The daily off-leash, group nature hike is our most popular service by far. Over the past nine years we have hiked with over 250,000 dogs! Our 60-90 minute hikes include pick up and drop off from your home, exercise, socialization, supervision and daily photos or videos of your dog in action.

While you’re at work, chances are your dog is home with nothing to do.
Our nature hikes are all about giving your beloved pet an opportunity to run, have fun, and socialize with their buddies. It’s completely safe and there’s nothing for you to do except sign them up!

  • In-Person Visit

    Dogs are social animals. We want to make sure your dog is going to be a good fit into the group. We’ll visit your home, and bring along a dog or two to test the waters.

  • Get your dog ready to have some fun

    Active Dogs REALLY look forward to their hikes. We can tell. After a full dose of exercise and fun with friends, we promise your dog is going to be a happier citizen of your home.
