Nicole Reiner
Expert Dog Hiker
Working around horses since I was a teenager and knowing how unpredictable they are has taught me to always be alert, observant, and patient. These skills are required when working with any type of animal, especially multiple at a time like we do at Active Dog. I promise to treat every animal as if it were my own, giving them the same attention and affection that their owners do.
I always envisioned working with animals and majored in Equestrian Management in college. Training to become a stronger rider for my school’s competitive team made me develop a passion for fitness, changing my career path to become a personal fitness trainer.
When discovering that working at Active Dog would combine my love for animals and being active, I jumped at the opportunity!
Favorite type of dog?
Italian Greyhound. They’re just too cute!
What’s your favorite way to spend a day/weekend off?
Gym is life so you can catch me most days weight training. On my rest days, I like to explore artisan craft fairs upstate and jam out at heavy rock concerts!
Fun fact that you’d like to share?
I have an artistic talent inherited from my mother and a knack for painting horses!
Here’s a look at what’s happening on our nature hikes. We post photos and videos for every hike.
