Why should you trust me with your dog?
I take the responsibility of caring for dogs very seriously. I’ve had dogs my entire life and while I’ve only been doing this for a short time, I’ve already fallen in love with these dogs. You can trust me to care for them like they were my own.
What do you enjoy about working at Active Dog?
What’s not to love? When you’re hiking with a pack of dogs, watching them in their element having a blast, it’s impossible not to feed off that energy. Each day brings unique challenges but getting to know each dog and bonding with them over the hike is so rewarding. Every day out here is 10 times better than any job I’ve ever had. I get to be out in the fresh air surrounded by my buddies. There’s really nothing better than that!
What did you do before you worked at Active Dog and why did you decide to work with dogs?
I’ve spent the last ten years in the corporate world. I’ve worked in sales, marketing and product management but I never really felt any passion for what I do. The best part of my day was always getting home and seeing my dog, Riley. All the stress and worry from the day would fade as soon as I saw her get excited and start zooming around. Now I’ve found a way to get to be around that sort of contagious excitement all day!
