Why should you trust me with your dog?
I’ve always loved animals. But it wasn’t until I rescued my first dog that I realized how deep-rooted my passion went. From that point on, I truly understood the relationship with man’s best friend. Your dog is looking for a strong leader and through these hikes, they will become a better-balanced dog. We are those strong leaders.
What do you enjoy about working at Active Dog?
Every day is paradise. Exercise has always been a key component in my life and now I also get to be active on the job. I get to bring my two dogs to work so I see firsthand how exercise and socialization are beneficial to the fulfillment of our dog’s lives. I also love talking with owners so they have a better understanding of their dogs. Which in turn leads into a better relationship for them!
What did you do before you worked at Active Dog and why did you decide to work with dogs?
I worked for a corporate hotel chain for several years with hopes that I would eventually get a job in tourism so I could travel. Sitting in front of a desk for hours on end just wasn’t my thing! When I caught wind of what Eric had built, I wanted in. I think the dogs help me more than I help them.
