Director of Active Dog Farm Operations, Media Director, Expert Dog Hiker
As one of the most senior staff members here at Active Dog, I have hiked countless dogs of all sized packs. Being in charge of our boarding Farm operation has given me a solid background in pet safety, ranging from animal CPR to managing safe play between the dogs in our care. The happiness and wellbeing of all of our dogs is always my top priority!
After being stuck in a cubicle for several years, who wouldn’t want to switch things up and go hiking everyday? I had always wanted to work with animals and being able to hike with the dogs each day has been an amazing opportunity. Now, running our Farm boarding, I get to build such a strong connection with these dogs, it is truly such a magical thing.
My favorite type of dog is the low rider! They have the shortest legs and without fail, they’re always keeping up with the pack! From Dachshunds, to Norwich terriers, to the stocky pittie mixes, I love them all!
My Favorite season to hike in has got to be winter! As much as I am not a fan of the cold, watching the dogs play in the snow is such a heartwarming feeling. They absolutely love dashing through it, especially a fresh snow fall!
Here’s a look at what’s happening on our nature hikes. We post photos and videos for every hike.
