Manager, Media Director, Expert Dog Hiker
You should trust me with your dog because I LOVE my job, and where there is passion, there is dedication. I wake up everyday excited to see your pups and I want nothing but the best for them. Additionally, knowledge is often gained through experience, of which I now have a great deal after several (delightful!) years with Active Dog.
I have always felt a special connection to animals, dogs in particular. As a child, I remember spending hours running around the backyard with Bernie, my family’s Corgi, or snuggling up next to him with a book. At parties you will likely find me laying on the floor, petting the dog. I am always covered in dog hair, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! The pups I have been lucky enough to spend time with have brought me so much joy, and I knew that I would gain fulfillment being able to return the favor through my work at Active Dog. Helping to provide a fun, safe environment where your pups can improve their wellbeing with socialization and exercise-well, there is just nothing better.
Favorite type of dog?
I can’t choose just one but I especially love rescue pups! They’re often so unique and have a great deal of character. :)
Favorite season to hike in?
Winter! The feeling you get seeing a pup’s face light up when they see snow is unmatched!
Do you have any pets of your own? If so, what kind?
Yes! I have a rescue pup named Lenny! He looks like a blonde German Shepherd (with quirks). I got him in 2017-a decision I am still thanking my younger self for because life is so much better with him in it!
What’s your favorite way to spend a day/weekend off?
My favorite way to spend a weekend off is to travel somewhere new with my family! The northeast is full of beauty, charm, history, and good food; I want to explore it all!
Here’s a look at what’s happening on our nature hikes. We post photos and videos for every hike.
